LaTexMng

LaTexMng is an easy in use product of integrated development environment software for Windows. This application integrates all the tools, needed to the creation of LaTeX documents.
LaTexMng is distributed as shareware (try-before-you-buy software).

BibTexMng

BibTexMng is a very easy to use product of bibliographic software for Windows. BibTexMng combines online searching, reference management, bibliography making, and information sharing into a single user-friendly environment. It was written to be used with LaTeX, using BibTeX.

LaTeX

LaTeX is a high-quality typesetting system, with features designed for the production of technical and scientific documentation. LaTeX is the de facto standard for the communication and publication of scientific documents.
LaTeX is a TeX macro package, originally written by Leslie Lamport, that provides a document processing system. LaTeX allows markup to describe the structure of a document, so that the user needs not to think about presentation. By using document classes and add-on packages, the same document can be produced in a variety of different layouts.

BibTeX

BibTeX is a program originally designed to produce bibliographies in conjunction with LaTeX. BibTeX is a program written by Oren Patashnik to facilitate entering bibliographic data into LaTeX files. It was developed along with the development of LaTeX, and support for BibTeX is built into all versions of LaTeX, but BibTeX is an autonomous program that has to be invoked outside of the main LaTeX run.
BibTeX operates as follows. The bibliographic data is kept in external database files. These files contain all the relevant data, and sometimes additional information such as abstracts and keywords, but do not specify the final format in which this data will be presented. The format of these files is described later, but the important thing for now is that the data is organized into records, in which each record is identified by a unique key or label.

TeX system for Windows

MikTeX, by Christian Schenk, is also a comprehensive distribution, developed separately from the teTeX work. It has its own previewer, YAP, which is itself capable of printing, though the distribution also includes a port of dvips. The current version is available for file-by-file download (the HTML files in the directory offer hints on what you need to get going). A prepackaged version of the whole directory is also available.
fpTeX, by Fabrice Popineau, is a version of teTeX for Windows systems. As such, it is particularly attractive to those who need to switch back and forth between Windows and Unix environments, and to administrators who need to maintain both (fpTeX can use the same texmf tree as a teTeX installation). fpTeX's previewer (Windvi) is based on xdvi, and takes an advantage of extra facilities in the Win32 environment. Windvi is capable of printing directly, and a version of dvips is also available.

Comprehensice TeX Archive Network (CTAN)

The archive holds up-to-date releases of many implementations of TeX, LaTeX, Metafont and related packages and programs. It is the primary repository for TeX-related software on the Internet.
The backbone machines are the ftp servers at tex.ac.uk (UK), dante.de (Germany) and tug.ctan.org (USA). Of course there is also a web interface (at each server).
